Colombian Express Mendoza earned Chennaiyin FC their first victory

The first hat-trick of this year's ISL by Stiven Mendoza helped Chennaiyin FC to thrash FC Goa 4-0 in their third round match at the Fatorda stadium in Goa on Sunday. Mendoza was aptly supported by his captain and his team's marquee player Elano Blumer. Blumer not only scored the other goal, but also assisted Mendoza to score two goals.Marco Materazzi made four changes from the last match's team with the most significant being young Maharashtrian Jayesh Rane.Rane had an amazing match. The vibrancy that FC Goa showed in their match against ATK was missing. Zico's side looked clueless and amateur for major part of the match in front of Materazzi's pacy game playing strategy.
With Elano's Samba magic and Mendoza's blistering pace andb cool-minded finishing in front of goal,Chennaiyin FC might start to be a reason of worrying to the other teams.
