AIFF U-19 defeated Crystal Palace to enter into the Final of 120th LG IFA Shield (U-19) Tournament 2015-16

It was the fortuitous day for AIFF (U-19) as they entered in the final of the 120th LG IFA Shield(U-19) 2015-16 in the heart stopping 1st semi final match, as they wiped out Crystal Palace FC by tie breaker 6(2) - 5(2).

Baoringdao Bodo(no.10) of AIFF (U-19) kicked the 1st goal on 29th minute followed by the 2nd goal by Prosenjit Chakroborty(no.2) on the dying moment of 1st half(46th minute). In the 2nd half Crystal Palace FC battled back as Francis Baptiste(no.10) knocked the 1st goal on 52nd minute for his team followed by the 2nd goal came from Kian Flanagan(no.8) on 81st minute.

Consequently it became a tie breaker match. However AIFF (U-19) snatched the victory as the result was 6 – 5 though Kian Flanagan(no.8) of Crystal Palace FC got the honor of the Man of the Match.

Famous Bengali actress Mimi Chakraborty was there to cheer up the players. All over it was the glorious day for AIFF (U-19) .
