Delhi stole the away show at dying moment from Atk

Atk again lost the match. This time at their home ground at YBK on Thursday. Opponent was Roberto Carols’ Delhi Dynamos. Football often surprises and this is the nature of this game and create excitements. But goal against atk in 90th minute kolkata fans were not expecting this surprise. Legendary Roberto Carlos played more than half an hour but kolkatans were heavy in heart by 3rd consecutive loss Atletico de Kolkata is in crisis with 7th position in current league table. I think absence of positive goal scorer is the key reason behind this crisis. Injuries of the marquee footballer, Helder Postiga and Izumi Arata are paying a lot behind this catastrophe. There is no one at the opponent penalty box to convert the crosses of Sameer Doutie. In a league of 8 teams like ISL if a vital player is unavailable for 5 to 6 matches then the team is surely going to suffer. Same is the situation here in Atk. Coach Antonio Habas is still trying hard to get replacement of Postiga. Lone striker, Ian Hume was coming down on midfield to build attack. As a result he couldn’t reach the attacking third to attend the crosses. Obviously opponent by claiming the numerical supremacy at their defensive third is ready to tame Atk. Midfielders are also countable when striker is nullified. In that case, when strikers are failure, the morale of the team will be totally lost. Losing at the home ground is another matter of scary. 

Atk couldn’t fetch the advantage of getting 10-men Delhi. Instead of scoring conceded. Being a positive striker and having fresh legs, Sushil Sing didn’t create pressure on Delhi defense. The enthusiastic performance of Arnab Mondal and Rino Anto went in vain after conceding by Dos Santos at the dying moment. Once again Santos proved his utility earning 3 points for Delhi. At the same time excellent performance of Florence Maluda created a big difference.

Eastbengl in classic form to achieve Dream once again

Eastbengal once again created an epic moment  playing their 200th matche against foreign clubas they confronted Mohammedan Sporting (Dhaka) in the semifinal of Sheikh Kamal Gold Cup at MA Aziz Stadium, Wednesday in Chittagong. Red n Gold bridged are the only Indian club who touched this historic bench mark by playing 200th matche against foreign contingent.It is also noteworthy to mention that, by defeating Mohammedan Sporting (Dhaka) in the Semifinal by 3-0 Eastbengal earned their  84^th win in international arena against foreign clubs.

This was East Bengal's fourth entry in the final of a tournament on foreign soil. Incidentally in the previous three occasions when East Bengal qualified to the final - WAI WAI Cup at Kathmandu (1993), LG Asean Club Cup (2003) and San Miguel Cup at Kathmandu (2004) they had finished as Champions.

Ranti Martins played exceptionally well to score a brace to put forward Eastbengal. He got back his excellent rhythm in the soil of Chittagong. Rafiq, the local talent contributed in the gigantic win of red n Gold to gain confidence. I must say the unstoppable form of Dibyendu Sarkar under the bar of Eastbengal needs special mention. In Semifinal also, this young custodian performed marvelously and attracted fans.

Being a former footballer of eastbengal, appeared in 67th matche wearing Red n Gold gloves,  I feel proud when they reached such a classic height and flew Tri-color so high in the overseas tournament. .In the final on 30th October,2015 Kingfisher East Bengal will clash with Abahani Club (Chittagong).

Kingfisher East Bengal FC, has brought a number of glorious moments for Indian football fans to treasure and cherish. This magnificent trend of performing well against foreign clubs started way back in 1948, when the club defeated Chinese Olympic XI 2-0 in a friendly match, which also marks East Bengal’s first ever exposure to the international level. The Chinese Olympic XI was not an ordinary side; it was a pretty strong team consisting of the best available talents in China, who represented the country in 1948 London Olympics.

বিদেশী ক্লাবের বিরুদ্ধে ইস্টবেঙ্গলের সাফল্য

 ইস্টবেঙ্গল নামটার সঙ্গেই আছে অনেক ইতিহাস। একের পর এক জয়, অভিজ্ঞতা, সংগ্রাম সবকিছু নিয়েই উজ্জ্বল হয়ে আছে এই প্রতিষ্ঠান। ফুটবল আজ শুধুমাত্র আর খেলা নেই। সারা বিশ্বে ফুটবলকে মাধ্যম করে রয়েছে বাংলার আবেগ। ভারতীয় ফুটবলে ঞ্জির করেছে এই ক্লাব। শুধু তাই নয়, ভারতবর্ষের ক্লাব ফুটবলকে সাফাল্য দেওয়ায় পিছনেও অগ্রণী ভুমিকা এই ইস্টবেঙ্গলেরই।
১৯৭০। ইস্টবেঙ্গল ১-০। পাস ক্লাব। ইরান- আই এফ শিল্ড। ভারতীয় ফুটবলের এক অবিস্মরণীয় সময়।  লাল- হলুদের জয়। শুধু তাই নয়। বিদেশের মাটিতে বাংলার এই প্রথম জয়। ভারতীয় ফুটবলে উঠে এল সুরজিৎ সেনগুপ্ত, পিটার থাংগারাজ, শান্ত মিত্র, শ্যাম থাপা দের মত ফুটবলার।
১৯৮৬। ইস্টবেঙ্গল ৩-১। লাভেন্টিস ইউনাইটেড, নাইজেরিয়া আই এফ এ শিল্ড। লেভেন্টিস ইউনাইটেড এর সঙ্গে জোট বাঁধল ইস্টবেঙ্গল। আফ্রিকান মহাদেশের এই শক্তিশালী দলের সঙ্গে নিজেদের এক করে নিল ইস্টবেঙ্গল। ১৭ই ডিসেম্বর ১৯৮৬ তারিখটা ভারতীয় ফুটবলের ইতিহাসের পাতায় চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে রইল।
১৯৯৩-৯৪। ইস্টবেঙ্গল ৬-২। আলজাউরাস এস সি, ইরাক-এসিয়ান কাপ। এক্ষেত্রে বলতেই হয় এই ম্যাচ খেলার জন্য বাংলা থেকে লাল-হলুদ ব্রিগেড ১০ বার খেলার সুযোগ পায়। যা বাংলাকে আজও গর্বিত করে।
১৯৯৭-৯৮। ইস্টবেঙ্গল ১-০। ভারডি কাওয়াসাকি জাপান- এশিয়ান কাপ। এই বছর ইস্টবেঙ্গলের মুকুটে যোগ হল আরও এক পালক। নেপালে ত্রিভুবন ক্লাবকে ৮-০ তে হারায় লাল-হলুদের ফুটবলাররা। সুযোগ পায় জাপানের ভারডি কাওয়াসাকি এর মত শক্তিশালী দলের সঙ্গে খেলার। যদিও সেখানে রানার্স আপ হয় ইস্টবেঙ্গল।
২০০৩। ইস্টবেঙ্গল ৩-১। বি ই সি থাইল্যান্ড এল জি আসিয়ান কাপ। ইন্দোনেশিয়া মানেই ইতিহাসের রচনা।  ২০০৩ এ ইন্দোনেশিয়ার মাঠেই লেখা হয়েছিল ইস্টবেঙ্গল এর ঐতিহাসিক সেই ঘটনা। ভারতের প্রথম ক্লাবদল যারা আসিয়ান কাপ জিতেছিল। এই জয় যা আর কোন ক্লাবের পক্ষে ছোঁয়া সম্ভব নয়। ১০ বছর পর আবার সেই স্মৃতি। সিমেন- পাডাং কে ১-১ ড্র করে তাদের ঘরের মাঠেই হারায়।  পেয়েছিল এ.এফ.সি . কাপের সেমিফাইনালে খেলার ছাড়পত্র।
ফুটবলে এসেছে নতুন চমক। আই এস এল এর দৌলতে ভারতীয় ফুটবল যখন আজ সারা দুনিয়ায় আলোচ্য বিষয়, তখন সেই দল গুলোতে দর্শকরা খুঁজে পাচ্ছে তাদের ফুটবলার দের। দেখতে পাচ্ছি কি অসাধারণ ভাবে বিদেশী ফুটবলার দের মাঝে নিজেদের প্রতিভা প্রমান করছে।  দিচ্ছে টক্কর।
আবার ই পি এল বুন্দেসলীগা, লা লীগার পর ফরথ মোস্ট পপুলার ফুটবল লীগ ফিফার একটা টুর্নামেন্ট খেলতে গিয়ে বাংলাদেশের মাটিতে ফুটবলকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার পথ কে আরও মসৃণ করল।
ভাবতে ভাল লাগে আমি এই ক্লাবের সঙ্গে কিছুটা সময় থাকতে পেরেছি। ইস্টবেঙ্গলের একজন প্রাক্তন ফুটবলার হিসেবে প্রার্থনা করব তারা যেন এই টুর্নামেন্টের চ্যাম্পিয়ন হতে পারে। গড়তে পারে নতুন ইতিহাস। আসলে এই জয় তো তাদের একার নয়। এই জয় আবেগের, ভালবাসার, বিশ্বাসের।

নাটকীয় উপাদানে ভরপুর ছিল চেন্নাই এর ঘরের মাঠ। সেখানেই তাদের জোড়া গোলে এগিয়ে গেল চেন্নাই।  খেলার প্রথম থেকেই ম্যাচে ছিল গোলের তাগিদ।  ৯০ মিনিটে ৩ টে গোল এসেছে তবে আরও কিছু গোল আসতেই পারত।
ম্যাচের শুরুতে বল চেন্নাইএর দখলে থাকলেও সময় এগোনোর সঙ্গে সঙ্গে পুনে সেই স্থান নেয়। তবে অসাধারণ টাইমিং, পাস, আর সঠিক টাচ-এ এগিয়ে যায় চেন্নাই।
 বলা হয়  ফুটবলের শেষ কথা গোল। তাই পুনে ভাল খেললেও জয় চেন্নাই এরই।  পুনের গতি, ছন্দ থাকলেও অভাব ছিল প্রত্যেকের সঙ্গে বোঝাপড়ার।  কুচের পা থেকে একটা গোল আসলেও বেশ কিছু সুযোগ নষ্টও হয়েছে।
হিরো অফ দি ম্যাচ মেন্ডোজা। আর তা হওয়ারই ছিল। ডান পা বাঁ পা করে বল টা যে ভাবে জালে জড়াল তা দেখার মত। তবে শুধু মেন্ডোজা নয় ধনচন্দ্র এর পাস থেকে মেন্ডি যে গোল করেছে তার জন্য প্রশংসা প্রাপ্য তারও।
আজকের অসাধারণ ম্যাচের পর লীগ তালিকা পাল্টে গেছে। চেন্নাই লীগ তালিকার দ্বিতীয় স্থানে আর পুনে আসল তৃতীয় স্থানে। তবে পরপর দুই ম্যাচে পয়েন্ট হারিয়ে কলকাতা এখন লীগ তালিকার পঞ্চমে। প্রথম চারে থাকতে হলে ম্যাচ জিততেই হবে কলকাতাকে।

পেলের ৭৫ তম জন্মদিনে যে অসাধারণ ম্যাচ  গুয়াহাটি স্টেডিয়াম দেখল  তা সত্যি প্রশংসনীয়। প্রশংসা প্রাপ্য দুটি দলেরই। একের পর এক পাল্টা আক্রমণে জেরবার তারা। তবে তারই মধ্যে পরিবর্ত ফুটবলার হিসেবে এসে গোল করলেন নিকোলাস ভেলেয।
আজ দারুন খেলেছে কামারা। অসাধারণ কিছু পাস এসেছে তার পা থেকে।  ম্যাচের প্রথম অংশে অনেক গোলের সুযোগ আসলেও গোল আসেনি। গতি, ছন্দে মেতে  উঠেছিল কলকাতা আর নর্থইস্ট। প্রশংসা প্রাপ্য রেহেনাস এর। দুরন্ত কিছু অবশ্যম্ভাবী গোল হওয়া থেকে রক্ষা করেছে নিজের দলকে।
কলকাতাকে ডিফেন্সের চ্যাম্পিয়ন বলা হয়।  কিন্তু আজ বারবার আক্রমণের পরও গোলের হদিস পেল না তারা। তবে বলতে হয় আম্রিন্দার এর কথা। খুব দক্ষতার সঙ্গে নিজের দায়িত্ব পালন  করেছে। আজ যে ভাবে আম্রিন্দার খেলেছে তাতে তার দলকে আরও কিছু গোল খাওয়া থেকে বাঁচিয়েছে। নিজেকে উজার করে দিয়েছে। অসংখ্য পাস খেলেছে হাবাসের ছেলেরা। তবে বেশ কিছু ভাল সুযোগ নষ্ট করেছে তারা।  আর বলতেই হয় ভেলেয এর যে গোল এসেছে তা অর্ণব  মণ্ডলের দুর্বল ক্লিয়ারেন্সের জন্য। গ্যাভিলনের শট মিস।বোরার শট বাইরে। এইরকম অনেক সুযোগ হারিয়েছে কলকাতা।
হলুদ কার্ডও দেখেছে কয়েকজন। ন্যাটো, অর্ণব মণ্ডল, আন্তো। আজ ম্যাচ শেষের কিছু আগে পরিবর্ত হিসেবে নেমে গোলও করে হিরো অফ দি ম্যাচ নিকোলাস ভেলেয। বুদ্ধি দিয়ে খেলেছে আজ। আজকের ম্যাচের পর নর্থইস্ট ৮ থেকে উঠে এল ৬ এ। আর কলকাতা রইল ৪। তবে এ কথা বলতেই হয়, যে ভাবে খেলা এগোচ্ছে তাতে কারা প্রথম চার এ থাকবে তা বলা বেশ কঠিন।

শীর্ষে গোয়া

 কেরালা-১ গোয়া- ২  বৃহস্পতিবার জওহরলাল নেহেরু স্টেডিয়ামে কেরালা gb ও গোয়ার মধ্যে ছিল লীগ তালিকায় স্থানের উন্নতির লড়াই। ৩ পয়েন্ট পেয়ে গোয়া তালিকার শীর্ষে। লিও মৌরা ও গ্রেগরী আরনোলিন-এর করা গোল থেকে গোয়া এগিয়ে যায়।   ম্যাচের শুরু থেকেই খেলার মধ্যে গতি ছিল। দুটি দলই নিজেদের প্রমান করার জন্য মরিয়া। প্রথম দিকে খেলা কেরলের হাতে থাকলেও সময় এগোনোর সঙ্গে সঙ্গে খেলায় দখল নিতে শুরু করে গোয়া। কেরালার দলে ছন্দ ও গতি দুইই ছিল, কিন্তু সেই গতি মাঝে মাঝে কোথায় হারিয়ে যায়। মহম্মদ রফি ও মান্দার রাও দেসাই কে বারবার জ্বলে উঠতে দেখা যাচ্ছিল।  তবে মাঝমাঠ নিয়ে কিছু সমস্যা রয়েই গেছে।  প্রত্যেকের সঙ্গে বোঝাপড়ারও অভাবও চোখে পড়ছিল বারবার।    গোয়ার ফুটবলারদের মধ্যে যে ছন্দ দেখা যাচ্ছিল তার অন্যতম একটা কারন আত্মবিশ্বাস। একের পর এক ম্যাচ যেটা দলকে আরও উজ্জীবিত করে। যার ফল কালকের ম্যাচ। হিরো অফ দি ম্যাচ লিও মৌরা। বলতেই হয় সঠিক সিদ্ধান্ত। অসাধারণ ট্যাকেল, পাস অবশেষে গোল।  নজর কেড়েছে লুসিয়ানো সাবরোসা, হোফরে।   কাল দুই দলের কাছে ৩ পয়েন্টই একমাত্র লক্ষ্য ছিল লীগ তালিকায় নিজেদের উপরে নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য।  তবে বলতেই হয় এত বিদেশী ফুটবলারদের মধ্যে ভারতীয়রা নিজেদের জায়গা ধরে রেখেছে।  নারায়ন দাসকে এই মরসুমে প্রথম খেলতে দেখা গেল। কালকের ম্যাচের পর গোয়া লীগ তালিকার প্রথমে আর কেরলা রইল ৬এ।

মুম্বই-এর দুরন্ত ক্যামবাক

দুরন্ত জয়। আই এস এল ২০১৫ এ চার ম্যাচে প্রথম বারের জন্য জয় পেল মুম্বাই। নিজের ঘরের মাঠে দিল্লিকে ২-০ এ হারিয়ে মুম্বাই ৮ থেকে উঠে এল ৭ । 

বুধবারের  এই ম্যাচ যেন ছিল কালকেরই প্রতিচ্ছবি। একের পর এক হলুদ কার্ড, ফুটবলারদের ঘিরে উত্তাপ ডি অয়াই পাতিল স্টেডিয়াম কে বেঁধে রেখেছিল টান টান উত্তেজনায়।
আজ খেলার মধ্যে ছিল গতি, ছন্দ, গোলের তাগিদ। প্রথম দিকে কিছুটা সময় নিয়ে খেললেও সময় যাওয়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে নিজেদের খোলস ছাড়তে শুরু করে দুই দলই। বিশেষত ১৩ মিনিটের মাথায় সনি নডের পাস থেকে সুনীল ছেত্রীর অসাধারণ গোলের পর থেকেই খেলার রং পাল্টাতে শুরু করে।
প্রশংসা করতে হয় মুম্বাই ও দিল্লীর গোলকিপার সুব্রত পাল ও ডগলাস এর। তারা যে ভাবে অসাধারণ  দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন তা দু দলের কাছেই ইতিবাচক।

এই  দিন  হিরো অফ দি ম্যাচ এর দৌড়ে নাম বলা যায় অনেকরই। তবে দুটি গোল নিয়ে এই সম্মান আসে সুনীল  ছেত্রীর নামের পাশে। তা হওয়ারই ছিল। প্রথম গোলের ক্ষেত্রে যে ভাবে রিফ্লেকশণ ছিল, অসমান বাউন্স ছিল, সেখানে ইনস্টেপ ব্যবহার করে যে দক্ষতা দেখিয়েছেন তা বলতেই হয়। সুনীল ছেত্রীর সঙ্গে নাম আসবে সনি নডের । তিনি বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছেন দল বলতে কি বোঝায়। সুনীলের প্রথম গোল যেমন সনির পাস থেকে আসা বল এ।  তেমনই ৭৪ মিনিটের মাথায় সুনীলের দ্বিতীয় গোল ও সনির সহায়তায়। সনি ণোড়ডে যখন বল নিয়ে এগিয়ে ছিলেন, তখন একবার মাথা তুলে দেখে নেন পজিশন। বুঝতে পারেন সেখান তার গোল পাওয়া সম্ভব নয়, তখনই পাস করেন সুনীল কে।
দুটো দল না ভেবে যদি ভাল ফুটবলের কথা ভাবা হয়, তবে সেই ভাল ফুটবল খেলেছে আজ অনেকেই। রবীন সিং, দারুণ হেড ওয়ার্ক ছিল তার। সুভাষ সিং ও ভাল খেলেছে। শৌভিক চক্রবর্তী নাম আলাদা করে বলতেই হয়। অসাধারণ ট্যাকেল এসেছে তার পা থেকে।
তবে কালকের মত আজও হলুদ কার্ড হয়েছে অনেক। বূশটোশ, আগুলেড়া, সুনীল ছেত্রী, চীকাও, চরস, শৌভিক, সুভাষ সিং, ওডেয়া, মুলদের।
এই ম্যাচের পর ৭ ঊঠে এল মুম্বাই। দিল্লী রইল দ্বিতীয় স্থানেই। তবে মুম্বাই এই প্রথম জয় তাদের আই এস এল এ আবার ফিরিয়ে আনল। এই জয় নিশ্চয় তাদের আত্মবিশ্বাস জোগান দেবে।

কেরালাকে তাদের ঘরের মাঠে হারিয়ে দ্বিতীয় স্থানে দিল্লি। রবিবার জহরলাল নেহরু স্টেডিয়ামের প্রায় ৬২ হাজার দর্শকের সামনে গাডজের গোলে ৩ পয়েন্ট তুলে নিল রবাতো কার্লোসের ছেলেরা।
এদিন প্রথম থেকেই দিল্লি আক্রমণাত্মক। তবে বার বার আক্রমণ করলেও গোল আসছিল না কিছুতেই। খেলার একদম অন্তিম লগ্নে ৮৫ মিনিটে গাডজের গোল সুপার সাব-এর তকমা দিল গাডজেকে। এদিনের হিরো অফ দ্য ম্যাচ- সন্দেশ জিংঘন, কেরালার রক্ষনে ভাল লড়াই করলেও শেষ পর্যন্ত দুর্গ অক্ষত রাখতে পারেননি। হলুদ ব্রিগেডের মাঝমাঠ থেকে আক্রমণের দায়িত্বে বিনিথ অনবদ্য হলেও গোলের দিশা পেতে ব্যর্থ।
দিল্লির স্যান্টোস এদিন ছিলেন দুরন্ত। সুযোগ পেলেই শট মেরেছেন প্রতিপক্ষের গোল লক্ষ্য করে। মালুদার কথা না বললেই নয়। এদিন ম্যাছের সেরা হতে পারতেন তিনি। মালুদা আজ গোল না পেলেও বার বার গোলের সুযোগ এসেছে তার পা থেকেই। এমনকি এদিনের একমাত্র গোলও তার ক্রস থেকেই এসেছে।
